"Greenwich Market is one of the best in London" — Time Out

The Royal Charter covered market is situated in the heart of London’s “Millennium Village” and has over two and a half million visitors a year. USM won the management tender in 1997, with the objectives of building quality and consistency, expanding successfully into weekday operations, giving a better return to the owners and developing its role as a major tourist attraction in the town centre.

The market is now open from Thursday to Sunday. In addition to a huge variety of arts and crafts, with priority and encouragement consistently given to designer makers, USM has introduced antiques, performing events, the Greenwich Arts Collective and a quality Food Court which has helped attract more local people to the market. USM works closely with Town Centre Management, and many other groups including The Prince’s Trust, and has also pioneered “satellite” markets in the neighbouring areas of Cutty Sark Gardens, the Old Royal Naval College and East Greenwich.
